Sunroot - AKA Helianthus tuberosus is the source of inulin and silicon (Si).
Inulin increases the metabolism of lipids in the blood and activates the anticoagulant potential, increases the sensitivity of cells to insulin and decreases the absorption of glucose from the intestines into the blood. Inulin is an active sorbent that removes ballast substances from the body; stimulates the motor activity of the gastrointestinal tract (motility and peristalsis), has a pronounced choleretic effect.
